Where to Eat:
There are numerous eating places within easy stroll of the Apartment and here is a selection that have been enjoyed by the owners:
L'Atelier de Fred: 12 Rue Saint Ferreol, Ceret - Ph: 04 68 95 47 41
If you rate a restaurant by its ambience, service and quality of food, L'Atelier de Fred is sure to tick all those boxes. Fred and his wife Delphine have opened a superb restaurant and a must for any stay in Ceret. Open for lunch and dinner with the exception of Monday and Dinner on Sunday, be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. Both Fred and Delphine speak excellent English but a great place to practice your French.
Can Jordi: 10 Boulevard Josh Jaures (Below Hotel Vidal)
A good restaurant in a great position for people watching. Jordi and Nickolas provide a great atmosphere with consistant and well presented cuisine.
La Praline: 15 Boulevard Marechal Joffre, Ceret - Ph 04 68 87 71 21
A gorgeous cafe for lunch in the heart of Ceret where Marie and Olivier give you a warm welcome and Marie's wonderful home cooking is just delicious. A great range of Belgian chocolates are also available during the cooler months
La Fontaine: Place Des Neuf Jets
A small but very enjoyable restaurant. The couple who run the restaurant do an amazing job and the quality and quantity of meals that flow out of the tiny kitchen is simply amazing. The service is very good and friendly but it would be recommended to make a reservation.
Restaurant Del Bisbe: 1st Floor Hotel Vidal
A very good restaurant with excellent food and great service at a reasonable price.
Le Quattrocentro: Place Des Neuf Jets
Great if you love wood fired pizzas or larger portioned steak and fries. House wine is quite good.
Le P’Tit Grill (Steph’s Petit Grill): 47 Rue St Ferreol
As the name suggests, a very small restaurant serving good food in a fun atmosphere. Reservations a must.
Café De France: 35 Boulevard Mar Joffre
A good selection of French and European dishes in a nice alfresco environment.
Al Catala: 15 Av. Georges Clemenceau
A very nice restaurant with a lovely courtyard at the rear. The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient.
This is by no means an exhausted list of good eating places in Ceret but they are suggested based on the owners personal experiences – Bon Appetit.
